Folks who attend the upcoming Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show – Milwaukee, taking place at the Midwest Airlines Center on September 26 & 27, could win beautifully reinvented chairs decorated by area artists. At least a dozen chairs, which the artists obtained from donated goods at the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore, will be raffled off at the show. Tickets will sell for just $5 each or 5 for $20. “What could be greener than buying something once to enjoy for the rest of your life?” That fortuitous comment was made recently by Brooklyn, Wisconsin based furniture maker David Redwine, who will be exhibiting at the Third Annual Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show – Milwaukee over the weekend of September 27 & 28 at the Midwest Airlines Center. The sentiment expressed is shared by many of the show’s exhibitors. Fine Furnishings Shows Announce Consumer Buyers Program
Thousands of “Decorating Dollars” to be Given Away
An exciting new consumer buyers program was recently announced by Karla Little, the owner of the Fine Furnishings and Fine Craft Shows, held annually in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Providence, Rhode Island. Thousands of dollars to spend at this year’s shows will be awarded as “Decorating Dollars” and “Craft Currency” through the show website: FineFurnishingShows.com. The recently revamped website features all new colorful graphics and many new features. Every month from May through September anyone who visits the website can register to win the equivalent of $200, which can be used to purchase handcrafted goods of their choice at the show. These goods could include furniture pieces, home décor accessories, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, wearables, or any of the other items offered by the artisan exhibitors.
