Countless possibilities for articles, stories, and photo essays await you on the show floor.

The artisans who exhibit at these shows are fascinating people with interesting life stories, who design and handcraft extraordinary things.

Here are just a few examples:

• Mark Miller of Slinger, Wisconsin learned to make shoji screens from traditional makers in Japan with his wife Emi translating the language between them. Mark and Emi develop their custom shoji designs cooperatively and then Mark constructs the shoji and Emi selects and mounts the paper. Read more...
